Delete your Ground Team account

For the Ground Team field sales app, published by Ground Team.

You can delete your Ground Team account yourself at any time, in the iPhone app, in the Android app or on the website. If you can't sign in, email us and we'll delete it for you. Deleting an account can't be undone.

In the iPhone app

1. Open Ground Team and sign in.
2. Go to Settings › Team Sync › Delete my account. If you haven't joined a company yet, "Delete my account" is on the "Your company" screen.
3. Confirm. Your account is deleted right away and you're signed out.

In the Android app or on the website

1. Open the Ground Team Android app, or go to groundteam.netlify.app, and sign in with the same account.
2. Tap your name at the bottom of the menu, then Account › Delete my account. If you haven't joined a company yet, "Delete my account" is on the "Your company" screen.
3. Type DELETE and confirm. Your account is deleted right away and you're signed out.

If you're your company's only admin and other people are still on the team, make someone else an admin first. Until then, Ground Team won't delete your account, so the team isn't left without an admin.

If you can't sign in

Email info@snatchie.store with the subject "Delete my Ground Team account" and the email address of your Ground Team account. If you used Hide My Email with Sign in with Apple, that is the private relay address Apple created for Ground Team (you can see it in your Apple Account settings under Sign in with Apple). To make sure the request comes from the account's owner, we send a confirmation email to the account's email address (a Hide My Email address forwards it to you) and delete the account only after you reply to that confirmation. We let you know when it's done, within 30 days of your request. The same data is deleted as when you do it in the app.

Forgot your password? You can also tap "Forgot password?" on the sign-in screen, set a new one and delete the account yourself.

What is deleted

• Your sign-in: your email address, your password (stored only in hashed form) and any Apple or Google sign-in details, including a Google profile picture link.
• Your membership in your company: you leave it and lose access to its data.
• Your devices' push notification tokens, invitations you created that haven't been accepted yet, and the daily count of your AI Co-Pilot requests.
• The company's data on the phone or in the browser where you delete the account.
• If you're your company's only member: the company and all its records, including the photos and documents attached to them, too.

This data is removed from our server right away. If a photo or document can't be removed at that moment, it's removed within 30 days. Server backups that contain your data are gone within 7 days.

What your company keeps

Ground Team is a team tool, and the work you do in it is shared with your company. When other people are still in your company, your profile in the company (your name, email address, phone number if one was entered, role and team) and the records you created (such as leads, visits, notes, photos and routes) stay with your company so your teammates keep their history. They're kept while your company exists, unless one of its admins deletes them. To have them removed, ask your company's admin.

Not ready to delete?

Signing out or leaving your company doesn't delete your account, and neither does deleting the app from your phone. You can sign in again later with the same account.
